Free LA review site!!!

When I was in hygiene school at SLCC, one of my classmates found a website that offers a free local anesthetics board review. The website is www.pc.maricopa.edu/dental/local/docs/. I found this website very helpful. It's fairly quick and direct. There is a section that covers N2O2. It seems to go more in depth over N2O2 then is needed, however it can't help. The 3 areas that the written board seems to emphasize was; local anesthetic components (and their purpose), medical emergencies and of the math. There wasn't many math questions (2-4 questions out of 60), but believe me- this area can truly make the difference is passing or failing the exam. The exam doesn't place the most difficult math questions on the exam. Make sure to remember the max. recommended dose of each different type of LA. It's either you know the material or not and it's that simple. In my opinion, this is one of the most fair exams I have EVER taken. If you have any questions or comments let me know!

Hello

Hello, my name is Darika Murphy and I work full time as a dental hygienist. I graduated dental hygiene in 2007 from Salt Lake Community College. I am earning my bachelors' degree in dental hygiene here at Weber to possibly work for the U.S. Public Health. I took a upper division class last fall and worked with Weber's senior class of '08 at the VA.
I am dating a guy named Steve and have no kids. I have a 11-year-old yellow lab.
Feel welcome to ask me any questions about my hygiene school experience, boards exams, work experience, or anything! I would love giving some tips or insight.
